I bought these to label the cabinets in my kitchen. All of the cabinets are from the 1950s with the original worn, but adorable brass knobs. I bought the brass version of these vintage library shelf labels to match. The raw, unlacquered brass matched perfectly! I am sure these will wear in with a nice patina over time. I did not use the little screws that came with the label holders, though. Instead, I used brass tacks. It was much quicker, and I did not want larger holes than necessary in the old cabinets. However, the screws that came with the kit appear to also be a good quality. I would definitely recommend these label holders! I do wish that they came with the little paper labels that fit inside. I cut my own out of card stock, but getting the size right was a little tricky.
