Maybe the drawers facing away is the standard but if the drawers faced the artist while using, it would be perfect. I can still easily remove the draws but it’s not the same. It’s sturdy, need minimal adjusting, and holds a great amount. This is an absolute keeper and must buy for any artist!I’m doing paint by numbers and this is great for big pictures small pictures and I can put all my supplies in the back in the drawers this is a great easel for anyone to start out onThe box is well built and aligns (which some don't seem to as well) - lots of room and storage space for suppliesThis is a nice art box, but it was missing one of the feet and I had no luck reaching out to customer service to get a spare part, which was a little frustrating.I like itI have my art stuffs scattered all over the house and wanted something to be portable and convenient. This got the bill and exactly what I needed it to do. Very sturdy, easy to put together even with no instruction manual. If you have a lot of things to store. This box is good. It can travel with her bus, train car. Loved the storage it gave. Assembly instructions would have been useful, but we worked to out. product is lightweight, well made and good value for money . I use it for mobile artworks in parks and gardens.I do wish the drawers opened the other way because I have to take out supplies and turn it, if I forgot something is inconvenient.I bought it last week and returned it immediately. Its quality is so bad that I can't assemble it.Please look at these photos.Picture A & B: The two wooden handles are in the wrong position, so I cannot assemble it.Picture C & D: Incredibly bad quality.If you want to buy it, please think twice.
