I couldn't be more impressed with this piece of furniture.I've been using a tiny desk for my gaming PC setup for the past three and a half years now. When the time came to build a new system for myself, I knew that would need a bigger work space. After searching through some other options, I came across this guy. The price becomes even more unbelievable after it's assembled and used. It's been sitting in my room for about a week, and it currently is holding my new rig. I've attached some photos for context. There's an amazing amount of room both on top of and underneath it, so I can finally play, relax, or work while stretching my legs and not having to sit cramped any longer. There's one more bit that I'd like to include, though. As I was assembling it, I found the most challenging part to be the attachment of the top to the base. I'm a stubborn jackass who likes to do things on my own, so I lifted the damn thing by myself (which is an engineering marvel in itself if you consider my homunculus arm span), tried putting it on, and the next thing I knew it was on the floor with two of the five plastic rivets snapped in half. This is IN NO PART any fault of the manufacturer - it's all on me. I should have had some help assembling it. Though I succeeded in my second attempt, and managed to superglue one of the fragments back onto its other half, the other was a bit more unwilling to cooperate and I had to settle for four. The reason why I bring it up is because even though not all of the rivets are complete, this desk IS STILL STANDING and is incredibly sturdy. You'd never even know that something went wrong. What does that say about the care and effort that Coaster Home Furnishings puts into their products? I think the outcomes of my little stunt speak volumes on that one.I have been struggling with sub-standard desks my whole life. My last desk was made of tempered glass, and when that shattered, I decided I was going to spend a little bit more to get exactly what I wanted. What did I want?Simple. Practical. Large. And it needs a keyboard tray large enough for a keyboard and a mouse. One of the things that turned me on to this desk was the accessories that can be purchased along with it. I doubt I will ever buy any of those accessories, but it's nice to have the option.I have two monitors set up on the desk, and there is a lot of extra real estate. I have nothing but good things to say about the finished product. It is exactly what I was looking for.I do have a couple of nitpicks about the assembly, though. Cheap Styrofoam galore will be found inside of the box, and I hate cheap Styrofoam. My cats love it, but that's actually part of the problem. I also am not a fan of using adhesive. When I looked at the assembly, I could figure out a practical way to make the desk so that glue wouldn't be needed, but I could see that adding $20 onto the purchase price easily because it would require more pre-fabrication to make it work.I would not rate this as a beginner assembly project. There is some moderate lifting, and I highly recommend using a drill. The pilot holes were well drilled, so one could get by with a manual screwdriver, but I could easily see that doubling the time of assembly. It took me about 45 minutes with a drill, but I also had to consistently chase cats out of the room. This definitely deserves five stars.I purchased two of these desk for my home office excuse the chairs we haven’t gotten our chairs yet. But I thoroughly love these desk they are very sturdy very well-made in terms of knowing if they were easy to assemble I really don’t know I did have someone come over and assemble them for me and it didn’t seem like it it took him a long time. I would highly recommend these desks they are well-made they’re solid they’re sturdy and the cappuccino color is beautiful.CAUTION: THE PRICE IS ONLY FOR THE DESK. NOT THE OTHER COMPONENTS, LIKE THE DRAWERS.When I ordered the desk I was't expecting anything high quality. When I received the desk, it came in an abnormally sized box. It was bigger than I expected, there was a bit too much foam protection inside the box. The desk was fairly easy to assemble, I did it by myself. Overall, the desk was worth buying, it was made from high quality materials. The silver parts that connected the top to the bottom was made from plastic, which I really didn't like because it felt like it was very delicate.I just received this desk today and I am very happy with it. The assembly took around an hour to complete as I also cleaned the surfaces before beginning assembly. There was one minor damaged piece I noticed which was in the bottom right corner of the table (look at the picture below) there is a small paint chip/hill sort of bump, which isn't a huge deal as it is very minor. Otherwise, it is a great size for what I am looking for and will most likely end up buying the other pieces to make it a full L-shape.It is a nice desk and a good value. I was disappointed with the keyboard tray. It did not slide out far enough when using a wrist support, so I could not angle my keyboard and also have my hands reach all the keys. Also, the keyboard would slide around on the tray. I eventually bought a different slide out keyboard tray and replace what cane with the desk. The desk components did have some minor nicks, but fortunately they were in area that you cannot see.Product came as described and the instructions were easy to follow, my son and I put this together in no time. The quality of the desk is what I expected but I was hoping for more. That didn't happen, Coaster makes affordable furniture but beware it's not solid wood but particle wood. When someone say's it's not real wood, oh it's real but not solid that's the difference. A good product at a descent price. You get what you pay for. I'm satisfied.
